Paddle Demo at the Lake Country Clean Water Festival | Saturday, June 23rd

We hosted a “paddle demo” as part of the Lake Country Clean Water Festival last year and are looking forward to another great day out in Lake Country on Saturday, June 23rd. At this time, we are planning on bringing kayaks and standup paddleboards as they will both be a good fit for the inland lake conditions.

You’ll find us set up on the north side of the beach near the piers and railroad tracks. Look for the L&J tent and boats on the beach near the small watercraft boat launch. All demo’s include lifevests and paddles. Please wear water shoes and try not to wear jeans and they are not quick drying. Anyone under the age of 18 who would like to paddle must be accompanied by parent/guardian.

This event is free and open to the public. First come, first paddle. See you on the water!

About the Lake Country Clean Water Festival:

The Mission of the Lake Country Clean Water Festival is to raise awareness for the increasing need for the preservation of Lake Country’s lakes and to raise money for funding efforts to clean the lakes so that everyone may continue to enjoy the fun and beauty that the lakes bring to our community. The second annual festival, which will be hosted by the Pewaukee Lake Water Ski Club, is scheduled for June 22-23 in the beautiful Village of Pewaukee.

The event is being developed to raise awareness of the growing problems facing our waterways and to provide a means for everyone to enjoy the many activities available on our lakes. It is our hope that through the support of area businesses that the festival revenue we will raise significant money to make a difference in the clean up efforts.
