About PaddleQuest:
PaddleQuest is the only clean-up paddling based adventure challenge in the world…that we know of. Teams and solo questers paddle canoes, kayaks or stand up paddle boards along waterways using maps to guide them to treasures and characters offering challenges for Power Stamps. Along the way questers gather trash for additional points. The Protectors (champions) take home traveling trophies, sponsor prizes and more. We partner with local non profit organizations and are currently in the process of becoming a 501c3 organization as we expand our efforts.
It’s a clean up Adventure!
That’s right, PaddleQuest is a clean-up adventure race. Teams of paddlers will embark on four separate quests around Wisconsin hunting treasures, exploring, meeting characters and having fun outdoors. Along the way, teams are encouraged to pick up trash that they find floating or onshore that they then exchange for additional power stamps. In Milwaukee this plays a larger part than in The Backwaters or on The Waupaca Mystic Chain- but there is trash everywhere and every little bit counts. In 2011 teams found chairs, bumpers, ancient live traps, cans, baits, and much much more. Our vision is to grow PaddleQuest each year expanding into new paddling destinations and raising awareness on the importance of clean water.
